Bal Jouhal is the President and CEO of The Secured Property Group. Hailing from the United Kingdom, Bal graduated from the University of Leicester with a BA (Honours) Degree in Business Administration. Since then, he’s kept busy accruing over 25 years of hands-on, varied experience in the security service industry.

Alongside a stint with the Ministry of Defence in the United Kingdom, Bal has worked with renowned international brands such as Proctor & Gamble, SmithKline Beecham and Rentokil Initial Security Services. In the wake of 9/11, Bal’s knowledge of aviation and port security saw him move to Canada to take up a position as Operations Manager at Vancouver International Airport.

Missing the day-to-day thrill of running his own business, Bal founded The Secured Property Group. He takes a hands-on role in liaising with clients ensuring their objectives are delivered and services reflect the high standards he expects. Under his management, The Secured Property Group is proud to have maintained the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification for five years running.

When not at work, Bal is a regular participant in International Security Conferences and is a long-standing member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS).

Raman Singh entered the security industry three years ago, quickly advancing from a security professional to an accomplished Operations Manager. A Capilano University graduate, Raman began his security career as an Office Administrator at a major security company, where he managed clearances for CBSA - Detention Centres.

In his current role at Secured Property Group, Raman oversees the operations for prestigious clients like EasyPark and Bentall Green Oak. Adept in Securitrak, he ensures responsive service and efficient personnel scheduling. Raman's commitment to client satisfaction, employee well-being, and professional relationships defines his approach as an Account Manager.

 

With an Associate of Science degree from Capilano University, Raman brings a blend of education and practical experience to his role. His focus on customer service and effective management makes him an invaluable asset to Secured Property Group.

Greg Jorssen brings invaluable expertise to Secured Property Group. Greg brings over two decades of dynamic leadership and operational management expertise to the realm of security. With a diverse background spanning cash logistics, customer service, and beyond, Greg has fine-tuned his proficiency in risk assessment, crisis management, and security audits. This invaluable skill set allows him to adeptly identify and mitigate threats. In his role as Vice President at Secured Property Group, Greg orchestrates the implementation of highly effective security protocols, ensuring the safeguarding of client assets and the well-being of personnel.

 

Armed with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and an impending CPP certification slated for early 2024, Greg is resolutely committed to crafting secure environments for businesses and individuals alike. His dedication to staying abreast of industry trends and technologies further underscores his forward-thinking approach. Greg is highly regarded by his team for his motivational leadership style, which consistently inspires top-notch performance.
